Vintage Mechanical Tin Alligator Windup Toy
$40.00
Vintage lithographed tin mechanical alligator toy with articulated legs and rolling mechanism. The colourful alligator features detailed scale-pattern lithography, a red eye and mouth, movable metal legs and wheels concealed beneath the body. Marked MS 224 on the underside. As the toy rolls, its mechanical construction creates a walking or crawling action. A wonderfully unusual example of vintage tin toy design.
